Early Life & Education
Maneesh Nataraj's passion for sports began at an early age. Born in Chikamagalore and brought up in Mysuru, he was exposed to the rich cultural and educational environment of the city. His father, a retired principal, and his mother, a retired teacher, instilled in him a strong value for education and discipline. From the age of seven, Maneesh was deeply interested in gymnastics, and his passion for physical activities led him to pursue various sports throughout his early years. Over time, he developed a keen interest in tennis, ultimately deciding to make it his profession. This decision marked a significant shift in his athletic career, as he focused on refining his skills and competing in tennis events.
In addition to sports, Mr. Maneesh pursued his academic interests, completing his Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) and Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from TTL College. His educational background laid a strong foundation for his future endeavors in both business and sports.
Sports Career:
Maneesh Nataraj's sports journey is marked by determination and excellence. Starting with gymnastics at a young age, he soon transitioned to tennis, where his competitive spirit and dedication to the sport drove him to succeed. Over the years, his athletic pursuits expanded into golf, which became a significant part of his life.
• Tennis: Initially passionate about tennis, Maneesh honed his skills to compete at a high level. His experience in tennis laid the groundwork for his later sports career.
• Golf: Mr. Nataraj’s dedication to golf grew significantly over the years. In November 2012, he became a member of the prestigious Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Golf Club in Mysuru, further deepening his involvement in the sport. His golfing career has been marked by a series of impressive victories, including defeating top-seeded players in prestigious tournaments. Notably, his most recent victory was against a top-seeded golf player in a golf tournament, showcasing his advanced skills in the sport.
• Current Golf Handicap: 8 (a testament to his proficiency and competitive standing in the golfing community).
• Throughout his career, Mr. Nataraj has won numerous trophies, cementing his reputation as a skilled and competitive golfer.
